What’s the job?

Reporting into the Restaurant & Bar Manager, as a Food & Beverage Supervisor you’ll lead the food and beverage team – restaurants and bars, room service and banquets – with passion and energy. You’ll support and train the team to deliver quality service and standards, ultimately creating unique guest experiences that drive loyalty and revenue.

Your day-to day

Run the daily food and beverage operations across the restaurant and bar, room service and functions rooms.

Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to colleagues to enhance performance and drive their development.

Train Colleagues in quality and service standards, ensuring they have the necessary tools and equipment to perform and are empowered to execute in their roles. Maintain and continue to develop departmental trainers, team leaders and frontline colleagues.

Ensure food & beverage colleagues provide guests with prompt service, professional attention, and personal recognition.

Ensure guests are greeted upon arrival and make time to interact effectively with guests. Respond appropriately to guest complaints, solicit feedback, and build relationships that drive continuous improvement guest satisfaction.

What we need from you

Minimum 18 months’ experience in a Food & Beverage/Restaurant & Bar related position, preferably with an hotel/hospitality environment.

Experience in leading, supporting and driving a team.

Solid problem-solving skills, strong beverage knowledge and a bubbly personality.

Qualifications in Hotel Management and / or in Food & Beverage related field preferred.

Flexibility – night, weekend and holidays are all part of the job.

Valid Western Australian RSA competency card is required.

Excellent communication skills, bilingual or multilingual language skills are advantageous.

Rostering experience.

A team player, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workloads.

Ability to inspire passion, enthusiasm, and positivity in the team to drive an engaged and winning culture.
