The hotel is near completion of all 252 rooms renovation, the modern rooms are designed to make our guests smile. From the comfortable beds, 55 inch TVs, Nespresso Pod machines, free Wi-Fi and soundproof windows with black out blinds, our rooms are designed to make our guests forget the outside world, and enjoy their time with us.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and driven Reservations Manager to join our dynamic Sales & Marketing team at Holiday Inn Sydney Airport.




Your day to day

As Reservations Manager, you will connect with our guests in this critical first touchpoint of the guest experience. You will work closely with our Sales & Marketing and Front Office teams, implementing strategic plans and processes with guidance from the Director Sales & Marketing to drive revenue and fill efficiency, as well as answering calls in and out of the Hotel.

 




What we need from you

  • At least 2-3 years Reservations experience working in a hotel environment would be preferred including managing group reservations
  • Planning & coordinating all Reservations activities to ensure a smooth & efficient running of the Department, whilst ensuring maximum revenue is achieved & high occupancy is maintained.  
  • Support in regular revenue meetings for forecasts of occupancy & revenue in conjunction with DOSM and Revenue Manager 
  • Ensure familiarity with the reservations system, all tiers of the rate structure, occupancy  to maximize occupancy at every opportunity
  • Exposure to Inventory management- open and close room types, rates and allotments in order to maximize revenue and occupancy
  • Excellent Opera (PMS) skills and experience with loyalty programs preferred
  • Someone who will be a true brand ambassador for Holiday Inn and IHG
  • Strong attention to detail and passionate about the hospitality industry and exceeding client expectations
  • The ability to work with multiple stakeholders, to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workload
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to create genuine connections
  • Eligibility to work full time in Australia
