Your Day to Day

What an amazing time to be joining IHG. With spectacular openings in our region and a healthy pipeline of new hotels to come as well as a newly revamped loyalty program the timing couldn’t be better. 

We currently have a vacancy for a motivated Office Coordinator to join our Tokyo support office.  The role of Office Coordinator is to perform a variety of administrative duties for our IHG Corporate office based in Tokyo. The role will ensure the smooth running of all administration and logistical items of the office, while providing professional and personalized service to both internal and external guests.

  • Admin support that is office-related
  • Office supply (items in Nagomi lounge, stationery if not for events, copy machine paper etc)
  • Business card
  • Corporate card 
  • Invoices that are office-related
  • Corporate seal 
  • Company Registration 
  • Building Management company point of contact 
  • Office security card/ hot desk
  • Office safety / "Return to office" new ways of working with new rules 
  • Office tour to new starters
  • Reception duties
  • Postal service

What we need from you

To be successful in this role the following skills and attributes are essential would be highly desirable. 

  • College degree or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
  • Typically, 2-5 years administrative/secretarial or related experience. Previous work experience in an hotel environment is preferred.
  • Fluent in reading, writing and spoken English and Japanese are required for the role
  • Demonstrate strong PC skills including proficiency in a variety of software packages (i.e. Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, e-mail, SharePoint, etc.).    
  • Ability to deliver accurate work without supervision
  • Ability to take the initiative and follow through with tasks
  • Team player who works collaboratively with different group of people to accomplish tasks.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to details.
