|Your day to day
You will play a key role in the preopening marketing function for the resort. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and working with the New Hotels Commercial team, you will be responsible for defining the marketing strategy to ensure maximum public awareness of the Resort across all online and offline channels, using your understanding of the local environment to create a distinct USP in market as well as leveraging relationships with local tourism bodies, inbound airlines, cruise companies and executive PCO’s to support the hotels overarching Sales and Marketing strategy.
What we need from youCreating exceptional communication and content solutions that optimises social, digital, and traditional media channels to drive the Resort’s position in the local and international market for the leisure, special incentive groups and wedding segments will be the key measure of your success. You will be responsible for developing the long term marketing strategy and yearly calendar to support the future success of the hotel post the conclusion of your contract.
|The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years’ experience in Marketing, Communications Management, Content Marketing, Journalism or Public Relations with a relevant qualification and a passion for story telling as a foundation. Your skills in copy writing will be unsurpassed, and your strengths will lie in your ability to connect with and create content that influences leisure and business consumers, influencers and media alike.
|Whilst this role is remotely based you will be comfortable connecting virtually with your key stakeholders to collaborate on key strategic ideas, move quickly in a dynamic environment and deliver results. Your ability to leverage innovative marketing and digital trends, think strategically to drive results and be different to do what others haven’t done before will see you successful in this role.
