As a Marketing Manager you will be reporting directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing and below are some of the key responsibilities:


Your day to day

Definition & roll out of the hotel’s annual Marketing plan, in line with the brand positioning and hotel’s commercial imperatives, executing tactical / awareness campaigns, budget allocation, agency briefing & management, paid media activation (via external media & IHG Boost program), social & email marketing, photography shoots & content review. Media planning & execution based on available budget, inclusive but not limited to digital media, performance marketing and relevant offline media to target key audiences. Social Media calendar creation with relevant content and assets in line with overall marketing approach and hotel’s positioning. Manage Social channels effectively& efficiently. Research,writing & distribution of press releases, creating a Media kit, keep update a database of local & international (if needed) press contacts. Nurture key influencers for cross functional collaboration, hotel’s positioning & drive revenue. Marketing campaigns, activities & PR coverage reporting and update to key stakeholders, with a lens on key competitor’s activities. Perform other duties as assigned.


What we need from you

Educational Attainment: • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Brand Management, Marketing, Communications or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience. Critical Expertise & Experience: • 5+ years progressive work-related experience with demonstrated understanding of marketing strategies and marketing campaign deployment. Hotel experience preferred but not compulsory. Attitude and Commitment are the most important qualities we look for • Social Media management experience preferred • Track record in successfully developing and maintaining excellent working relationships across all functions at all levels to ensure maximum benefit from cross-functional synergies • Demonstrated communication skills including ability to influence and ability to build and maintain internal & external relationships. Technical Skills & Knowledge: • Good knowledge of marketing principles including Marketing planning, digital marketing campaigns (Search, Social, Display) roll out & measurement • Demonstrated project management skills in organizing, planning and executing mid to large size projects • Proven effective ability to develop localization strategies – with previous Middle East experiences, enforcing cultural sensitivity across all marketing materials & assets deployed • Must possess superior problem-solving skills combined with team facilitation skills The statements in this job description are intended to describe the essential nature and level of work being performed.
