Your day to day

As a key leader in the business, we want our Maintenance Supervisor to “run it like you own it” to keep our newly renovated 105 room hotel,  in the heart of the Hawkesbury Valley fresh, dynamic and functioning! With significant conferencing spaces and an onsite day spa, you will play a key role in delivering a great product to our guests. Your entrepreneurial spirit will assist you to oversee all aspects of maintenance within the hotel, whilst instilling a sales-minded approach to maintain our asset. Your hands-on, engaging and collaborative leadership style will enable you to develop and support our team, your strong drive for soft and financial results and maintaining brand standards are critical to success in this role.

Want variety? You’ll have this on the daily – from leading and supporting the team to attending to guest requests, working on some pretty cool projects, providing expert advice to the senior leadership team, driving preventative maintenance schedules (such as general repairs, basic painting and plumbing) and our sustainability initiatives whilst maintaining workplace health & safety for guests & colleagues.




What we need from you

Reporting into the General Manager, you will be:

  • Experienced in a Maintenance/Engineering Supervisory related position
  • Guest focused – understanding the worksite is a 24 hour customer based business
  • Able to lead and develop a team of 2, driving results and colleague engagement
  • Hands on with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize workload
  • Detail focused, and have superior communication and organisational skills
  • Able to build rapport quickly and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Electrical backround will be highly regarded
  • Hotel industry experience is preferred but not essential
