Your day to day
Check the communications binder or board for announcements and memos
Ensure all equipment is clean and in good working order
Check all chemical levels and inventory
Review Banquet Event Orders
Assist Set up stations.
Adhere to all sanitation guidelines
the Cooks and Servers as necessary
Dispose of waste
Ensure all items are clean according to sanitation guidelines
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Monitor proper tank temperatures and chemicals
Record all breakage.

Maintains strict control on chemicals used


Comply with and ensure adherence to all of the hotel’s policies and procedures.
Maintain a professional and friendly attitude towards guests during contact.
Maintain a good working relationship with all staff and colleagues throughout the hotel and sister properties.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.


Contributes and works as a team in the general operations of the kitchen(s), offering to assist fellow colleagues when required
Utilize coaching skills and demonstrate the development of other team members.



Complete day-end dishwasher maintenance
Clean all soiled items
Dispose of all broken items in the proper area
Remove trash and waste
Clean, sanitize and close workstations.
Bend and stretch frequently;
Handle a fast-paced environment;
Lift, balance and carry trays of up to 20 lbs during your shift;
Perform all duties in a hot and humid environment;
Stand, walk and remain on feet and perform job duties for entire shift duration;
Work quickly and quietly.




High School qualifications any culinary certification
Completion and awarded Basic Food Hygiene Certification
Completion and awarded HACCP Certification is an advantage


At least 1 years previous experience in a hotel or branded units
Minimum 1 years in similar capacity.
