To us you're not just a graduate, you're our future leader. To get you there sooner, we have developed The Programme; a
12-18-month management trainee programme designed for graduates who really want to fast-track their career in hospitality management. During the 12-18 months, you will…
•Learn the fundamentals of how the hotel industry works
•Develop skills and experience in hotel operations
•Drive projects which contribute directly to the success of your hotel
•Receive one-on-one coaching from the hotel's General Manager

How is the Programme structured?
Your career begins with us in the location where you will attend a full orientation programme. Together with other Management Trainees from across the region, you will hear from IHG’s senior leaders about the strategic direction of our company, what they expect from you, and what tools are in place to help you succeed.

Each Management Trainee Programme is designed to meet the development needs of each successful candidate and take into account previous experience. No two people are alike, just as no two hotels are alike. Your program will be tailored to suit both the individual needs of the hotel and your individual development needs and personal goals.
What training and development will I receive as a Management Trainee?
With the General Manager as your personal coach, you will contribute to the strategic direction of the business while learning key aspects of operational management. Your development will include…

• A bachelors degree of Hospitality / Management or are due to complete a bachelors degree by the end of June 2013
• Willingness to relocate
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong communication skills

• Demonstrated leadership experience
• Passion for the hospitality industry
• Culturally aware & open minded
• Previous customer service / hospitality experience
• Employment eligibility in China
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications ,must obtain required residency or work visa prior to application)
• Fluent in English and one other international language
• One year of relevant work experience
