Your day to day

As a Human Resources Manager, you will collaborate with the General Manager and the leadership team on all people-related initiatives: • Drive the People Agenda and ensure all HR Operations in the hotel are aligned to the Global and Australasia people strategies and the hotel’s strategic business plan. • Support the General Manager and Operational leaders to enable the delivery of business results to meet IHG performance targets. • Create programme’s to foster a positive work environment for all employees. • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and hotel or company policies and procedures. • Drive talent resourcing and increase leadership effectiveness in recruitment principles and system capability. Identify and analyse local compensation and benefits practices to ensure financial competitiveness. • Develop awareness and reputation of the hotel and the brand in the local community and promote team member involvement in the local community

What we need from you

• 2 years’ working experience in HR with leadership capability • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people and motivate a productive working relationship. • Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent   • Professional HR designation preferred • Ability to maintain confidentiality to the extent possible in all HR-related matters
