Your day to day

We are thrilled to offer an 18-month Leader-In-Training Program to college graduates interested in embarking on a career in Human Resources with IHG Hotels & Resorts.   

Throughout the Program you will gain exposure to all aspects of HR and/or take responsibility for individual functions to include but not limited to: 

  • Administration (Inquiries, Archives, Leave Management, Worker's Compensation, Unemployment Insurance, etc.) 
  • Onboarding & Orientation
  • Colleague Relations (Engagement, Events, Recognition, etc.)
  • Communications
  • Compliance
  • HRIS
  • Recruitment 
  • Learning & Development
  • Performance Management (Coaching & Feedback, Discipline, etc.) 
  • Labor Relations (Contract Administration, Grievances, etc.)
  • Compensation 
  • and more!

You may be considered for an assistant manager, or higher, position at the end of the Program.  Candidates open to relocation at the end of the Program are more likely to be placed within IHG Hotels & Resorts.  

What we need from you

To be eligible for the Leader-In-Training program, you must have:

  • College degree in human resources, business, or other related field. 
  • Work authorization in the United States.
  • A strong proficiency in spoken and written English.

Prior experience in Human Resources is preferred but not required.
