Your day to day

We are seeking a Human Resources Director to support the General Manager with the pre opening of Hotel Indigo Inuyama Urakuen Garden, this will be a 150 room IHG Hotels & Resorts internationally branded lifestyle hotel. When it opens its doors, it will feature also a neighbourhood café and bar, meeting rooms, a spa, health club, resort centre and retail outlet.

As HR Director, you’ll drive HR and initiatives such as hiring, benefits, employee relations and training programmes, to ensure compliance for hotel team members. You’ll also promote a positive team culture whilst ensuring colleagues deliver a guest experience that is unique and brings the brand to life. You'll also coach the General Manager and leadership team on all people-related issue.

What we need from you

You'll bring great knowledge and experience, be forward-thinking and inspirational with a warm and approachable manner.
Ideally, you'll have a Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or related discipline, with a minimum of 4 years + experience in Human Resources Management role within a recognised multi-national organisation. A solid understanding of Employee Relations practices and the ability to deal effectively with employees across diverse cultures and build management capability, will spell success in this role.
