Your day to day

As a Housekeeping Coordinator, your day to day will involve;

  • Managing ingoing and outgoing communication within the department across multiple channels from phone to radio systems and devices.
  • Managing daily room allocations and assignments.
  • Preparing and analysing daily operational reports such as amenity reports and colleague uniform usage.
  • Managing and maintaining lost property and the Resorts property management system.
  • Monitor and update manning daily to ensure appropriate coverage for occupancy levels ensuring departmental management are updated and aware of changes required.
  • Support learning and development activities for the team.
  • Supporting the leadership team with guest problem resolution and journey enhancement opportunities.



What we need from you

Ideally, you will have 1-2 years of previous experience a Housekeeping Coordinator or similar and be passionate about ensuring a seamless guest experience and supporting a team.  A problem solver with the capability to turn issues into opportunities, your experience within housekeeping in a resort, hotel or commercial setting will be a must, your exposure to wider hotel and resort operations in addition will be advantageous. With strong communication skills and the ability to think outside the box, you’re also comfortable with numbers, data and utilising technology and varying computer programs and devices.
