Your day to dayDue to Travel and Visa restrictions in Qatar, we are considering only locally available candidates in Qatar with NOC. In this role, you will clean, and service assigned rooms or areas per IHG Way Of Clean standards and procedures including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning, and sanitizing bathrooms, removing trash, etc. which may include cleaning of kitchen areas, room refrigerator, coffee maker, cups, glasses, silverware, etc. The Room Attendant will notify the supervisor when service is complete, so rooms may be sold or occupied while you monitor and control supplies and amenities and minimize waste within all areas of housekeeping. Report, turn in, and/or log all lost and found items per established procedures. If you know what it takes to exceed guest expectations and have experience within housekeeping or commercial cleaning, this is your opportunity to work in this unique environment.
What we need from youWith 1 – 2 years of experience within a housekeeping environment in a hotel or resort, as the ideal candidate, you will have good communication skills, excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high standards. You will need to be comfortable working in a physically demanding environment and able to carry, push or lift heavy objects such as linen, beds, bed sheets and vacuum cleaners, and be able to frequently stand up and move. Knowledge of safe working habits and chemical handling along with the use of cleaning machinery will be an additional advantage.
