Your day to day

As General Manager you’ll provide day-to-day leadership and direction by maximizing financial returns, driving development of people, creating and maintaining a unique guest experience, executing on brand standards and building awareness of hotel and brand in the local community.

What we need from you

Ability to network in community, sales driven and hand on operations approach.  A trainer and a motivator, to help the team excel in their roles.  Proven track record in driving elevated performance throughout every aspect of the business.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize work and ask for clarification when needed.
  • Strong work ethic.

    Ability to coordinate day-to-day operations and oversee/direct the sales, revenue, administrative duties required to operate the Hotel to maximize revenues and ensure profitability

  • Proven records of commitment and professionalism in meeting the challenges and pressures of a 24-hour, 7-day week operation.

  • Successful management experience of at least three 6+ years in Hotel Operations and Hotel Sales, include at prior General Manager midscale experience preferred.

  • Experience/knowledge in Housekeeping, Rooms, F&B with ability to develop plans to organize and implement departmental operating procedures, training plans, daily opening and closing checklists, guest experience initiatives and daily communications/handovers

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Manage Owner relationships, reporting and coordinate the functions of the Hotel in a multi-use retail, residential and Hotel building

  • Demonstrated effective management style based on prior work experiences to include:
    •         Problem-solver

    •         Hire and train new employees for all positions.

    •         Strong leadership skills

    •         Consistent performer/achieve

Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Hotel Administration or Business Administration, plus five to ten years of prior hotel management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience required may vary based on size and complexity of operation. Must speak fluent English. Other languages preferred.
