Your day to day

We’re looking for a part-time Handyperson to join our Maintenance team. This role could be the perfect next step, whether you are an experienced hotel Maintenance person, or if you are wanting a change of scenery to experience all that hospitality and hotels have to offer! You’ll need to be a self-starter and able to work collaboratively as the role involves both individual and team projects in ensuring the Hotel’s equipment and facilities operate efficiently for our guests and colleagues. A trade background will support your success – particularly carpentry.

What we need from you

Experience in maintenance, hospitality industry experience desired but definitely not essential. Strong organisational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workload. You will need to be a team player with a collaborative approach to work as well as able to work autonomously on shift. Strong attention to detail, written and communication skills with both internal stakeholders and guests. Flexibility will be key as our team supports the hotel operational needs, with shifts generally falling between 7am and 11pm across a 7 day rotating roster.
