Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise has 269 guest rooms, Queensland's only Revolving Restaurant boasting 360 degrees view of the Gold Coast coastline and hinterland, and conveniently accessible to the Gold Coast light rail.
Currently the Hotel is operating as a QLD Government Quarantine Facility.
Your day to day
At the start of the day, or end of one, is there anything more welcoming than a smiling face? As a Guest Service Agent, you'll be helpful host, a local expert, and a proud brand ambassador. Whether you're welcoming our guests to the Hotel at check-in, assisting them with their parking or delivering their luggage, you'll be devoted to creating memorable experiences throughout their Hotel experience.
As a Front Office Team Member you will be trained and engaged in front office services. This opens up a world of possibilities as you develop your mastery across the Hotel including but not limited to reception, concierge services and making reservations.
You will be on a rotating roster to ensure you continue to build on knowledge & skills in all areas and meet the needs of our guests and business.
We’re all part of one team, so pulling together to support all departments (including housekeeping, maintenance and our functional areas when needed) is a natural part of this role.
What we need from you
Charisma, warmth and natural charm, you know what is takes to connect with guests and exceed their expectations. With previous experience in Front Office, you genuinely enjoy making people feel special by delivering excellent and engaging service that can only come from the heart.
The ideal candidate will have;
- An attitude and aspirations to grow
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster. Weekends, public holidays and nights are all part of the job
You must meet the legal requirements to work in Australia.
You must be willing and able to meet the inherent requirements of working in a Quarantine Facility, including:
- Following various safety policies & procedures, such as regular Covid-19 testing,
- Using personal protective equipment as trained (PPE), and
- Willingness to have a Covid-19 vaccine
