About Us
The “Avenue Bellevue” development is a newly constructed mixed-use hotel, retail & residence project "The Avenue" consisting of 365 luxury serviced condominium units in 2 towers opening October 2023, surrounded and in synergy with the 208 rooms and suite first class “InterContinental Hotel Bellevue”, convention center, several restaurants, 1,000 unit parking garage and extensive 100.000sf luxury retail space.
We are seeking a Marketing & PR Manager who will be responsible for partnering with the Pyramid Global and IHG Field Marketing services teams to drive digital promotions and awareness across all key segments including catering, group, leisure, and transient. This position will also grow and refine all segments in reputation databases and will provide support with collateral and other marketing materials.
Your day to day
Key Responsibilities of the Marketing & PR Manager:
- Ensures the hotel’s website and content is up to date and keeps the sites dynamic for Internet related exposure by focusing on copywriting content for the targeted audience.
- Responsible for giving creative direction for all advertising production (online & offline), and photo and video production, marketing & operational collateral.
- Oversees the content quality and growth of the hotel’s social media pages.
- Assists in the preparation of all communication materials including interviews, press releases, speeches, and award nominations.
- Develops and maintains active contact with the media, influencers, and tourism boards.
- Builds effective and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all sales opportunities are maximized.
- Collaborates with DOSM on creation of marketing strategies and engage with third-party partners to execute action plans for all customer segments including Group, Leisure Transient, Wedding and Food and Beverage.
- Manages local customer communication, including eblasts and media partner promotions.
- Under the guidance of DOSM and within budget constraints, manage local advertising and promotion opportunities and events to promote the hotel, F&B outlet, and other hotel offerings.
- Ensures the correct policy and brand standards are followed by the hotel in all marketing collateral, advertising, and E-Commerce.
- Assists in managing property collateral and managing template database for printed and digital promotional pieces; maintain digital asset libraries.
- Represents the property and manages on-property activities for media visits, photo shoots and related activities.
- Develops and implements effective Marketing and Communication strategies in line with the brand and the hotel’s commercial objectives.
- Plans and creates promotions and packages together with the relevant departments, i.e., F&B, Rooms, Revenue, etc....and incorporates a multi-channel approach to all activities.
- Collaborates with the DOSM to finalize and manage the marketing budget.
- Maintains the content quality scores of all OTA’s and other online channels where the hotel and its assets are present.
What we need from you
· Minimum 2 years of experience in a Digital Marketing role with hotel experience strongly preferred.
· Hands on experience with graphic design, photo, and video editing tools.
· Understands and supports processes and tools for digital advertising, SEM (including SEO), social media advertising and website development for hotels, restaurants, and other property outlets.
- Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Ability to write copy in different styles, including writing for SEO purposes, preferred.
- Proficiency in the use and operation of computer systems with the ability to navigate efficiently through Word, Excel, Outlook, Delphi (or in-house sales system), Illustrator, Canva, Report Builder, Knowland and Incite reports.
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language to fully comprehend guest requests, memos, proposals, general correspondence, and similar written materials.
- Interpersonal skills to provide overall guest satisfaction.
- Flexible scheduling with availability to work varying shifts as business dictates.
- Commercially astute, multi-tasker who is motivated by finding solutions to challenges.
- Must adhere to all IHG and Pyramid Grooming Guidelines
- Be able to work in a standard position for long periods of time.

Education:
Minimum of four years of college level courses with an emphasis on Hotel Management, Business Administration, Marketing or Communications preferred.
Experience:
2+ years digital marketing, PR and marketing experience in the hospitality industry, preferably with a luxury hotel brand.
