Your day to day

An exciting career opportunity has arisen to join our team as Financial Accountant, for a 10 month parental leave contract. Make an impact and grow your career in this stand alone role that partners closely with the General Manager. You will be responsible for all things Finance as a key player of the hotel leadership team, you will be an integral part in decision making and driving ways to improve hotel profitability. You'll be the first point of contact for all hotel financial and accounting-related issues with owners, auditors and regulatory agencies. What we need from you

You'll have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (CA or CPA preferred). Preferably you'll have 2+ years in hotel accounting or audit roles. You'll have a demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the company. You'll be thoughtful and natural in your abilities with problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organisational and training abilities. You'll have strong communication and reporting skills.
