We are looking for an Events Coordinator to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has strong events management skills and is ready to take on new challenges.
Your day to dayIn this role you will be responsible for maintaining our high standards of administration with clients and inter department stakeholders, responding to inquiries, preparing contracts, preparing event orders as well as achieving sales and team targets. The Event Coordinator role includes coordinating conference and event requirements for assigned clients, maximizing potential revenues, and ensuring efficient and effective administrative practices and procedures. You will need to have good communication and be able to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The role also requires the building of a working culture to support our five Winning Ways of Do the right thing, Show we care, Aim higher, Celebrate Difference and Work better together.
What we need from youTo be successful in this role, you will need to have: • Strong team focus • Time management skills • Excellent customer relations • Problem solving skills • Good communication and listening skills • Experience in the use of Delphi/ Opera is an advantage You will also have a Diploma in a related field (Tourism and Hospitality Management ) and one year’s experience in a customer service or similar role You must meet the legal requirements to work in Australia.
