Your day to day

Join us as a Event Services Manager at Crowne Plaza Terrigal Pacific.

As Events Services Manager, you’ll be responsible for the smooth operation of the food and beverage operation for the Conference and Events space ensuring quality service and standards are maintained to deliver a memorable guest experience. You'll ensure you and your team are always following regulations concerning health, safety and responsible service of Alcohol requirements. During Peak season you will also gain valuable exposure and assist the Restaurant & Bar Operations (Lord Ashley Bar, Seasalt, Room Service and Mini bar).

What we need from you

You’ll have ambition, talent and obviously, some key skills. For this vital role, we're looking for someone who is proactive and collaborative. You'll strive to respond to guest and staff complaints, inquires and needs and take action to address these needs in order to exceed their expectations. You will build and maintain positive relationships with all customers and guests in order to anticipate their needs and create a positive hotel image in every interaction with internal and external customers.

An integral leader of the team, you will provide supervision and coaching to Food & Beverage attendants, Team Leaders and Supervisors ensuring that they maintain Hotel standards and have the opportunity to do their best.

You will be a a great communicator, you’ll be warm, welcoming and easy to talk to and have 2 years of related experience, including supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

You must have a flexible work approach where night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job and you’ll hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate.
