We are seeking for a Director of Finance and Business Support who will oversee the financial operations, ensuring smooth and compliant practices while driving profitability and efficiency. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to a successful transition and growth under the voco brand.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all financial operations of the hotel, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to the General Manager and Executive Team to achieve the hotel’s goals.
• Ensure compliance with IHG financial policies and Jordanian regulations.
• Manage cash flow, revenue control, and payroll processing to maintain financial stability.
• Prepare accurate monthly and annual financial statements and reports.
• Lead financial audits, ensuring all records are up to IHG and legal standards.
• Develop and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Analyze financial trends, variances, and risks, and present actionable recommendations to improve performance.
• Collaborate with department heads to align financial goals with operational objectives.
• Maintain strict control over purchasing processes, contracts, and vendor agreements.
Candidate Requirements:
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA are highly desirable).
• A minimum of 5–7 years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally within the hospitality industry.
• Familiarity with IHG financial systems and policies is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of local tax regulations and financial compliance in Jordan.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills to inspire and guide the team.
• Proficiency in financial software, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
• Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively under pressure.
