Your day to day

Working alongside the Executive leadership team, the Culinary & Events Manager – Colleague Village will participate in the development and implementation of our new and upcoming improved staff offerings and services. Oversight will include the newly renovated Village Diner which caters for up to 300 meals per service, our bar and bistro and our retail and café space. A passion for diversity in products and ingredients will keep you motivated, allowing the kitchens to offer the colleagues an eclectic choice in menus that both stimulate and nourish. Stock rotation and clever utilisation of products will be at the forefront of your role while ensuring that wastage is kept to a minimum keeping the operation cost effective.

What we need from you

We are looking for enthusiastic and professional team players who knows how to deliver great service and exceed guest expectations. Ideally you will have previous: • Minimum 5 years’ related experience in Commercial Cookery, particularly in banqueting, short order cooking and bulk food production. • Experience in catering for up to 400 guests per service. • Strong knowledge of bars or previous venue management • A strong understanding of P&L and financial accountabilities
