Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Science Park, a preopening hotel, is looking for an active Credit Manager to join their extraordinary team! Ideally located in the heart of Dubai Science Park, in the most sought after residential area of Dubai. Minutes away from mega malls, magnificent Jumeirah Beaches, world’s leading tourist attractions and Parks, auto drome and over 5 championship golf courses. The Holiday Inn & Suites at  Dubai Science Park will include 240 hotel rooms and suites and 84 one-bedroom apartments, anchor F&B offerings and an extensive 1026sqm cutting-edge meeting and events facilities. 

Your day to day

  • Supervise and participate in collecting all outstanding dues of the hotel within established standards.
  • Meeting and forecast collection targets.
  • Support to maintain and effective cash flow.
  • Maintain an effective and efficient billing mechanism.
  • Prompt Respond referring billing and invoice queries and handle investigations.
  • Minimize risk of uncollectable/bad debtors.
  • Accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis and oversee the process of credit extension and collection of overdue accounts.
  • Recommend the extension and cancellation of credit facilities.
  • Support and coordinate related departments such as Front office, food and beverage and Sales department in credit card operations, day to day billing, invoicing and updating payment status.
  • Attend credit meeting and update status of credit and share information.
  • Support sales and food and beverage departments with information related to credit, invoicing and update payment status and help when required.
  • Maintain a good quality of working knowledge, being prompt in attending queries, support related departments.
  • Support meeting collection targets and maintain a healthy cash flow.
  • Request personal development opportunities in order to ensure working knowledge is improved in order to cater a high standard service towards the organization.
  • Ensure only accurate and correct charges are transferred towards accounts receivable and all such charges only are reflecting in the credit age analysis.

What we need from you

Education: Bachelor Degree in Accounting/ Finance is required. Master Degree/MBA in Accounting/ Finance is preferred.

Experience: 4-7 years related experience in a reputed organization.  Experience in 4/5* hotels/ luxury properties will get preference.
