Your day to day

The Business Transient & Wholesale Manager will actively prospect and qualify new business. They will be responsible for mid-level wholesale accounts and co-handle the Business Transient segment. He/She will also produce and/or review all sales contracts, rate agreements, and/or banquet/catering event orders while they monitor and handle inquiry calls and provide client proposals in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures.  They will arrange and conduct special events, site inspections, and off-site presentations for potential clients and produce monthly sales-related reports and sales forecasts for assigned area of responsibility. He/She will attend and represent hotel at trade shows and conventions and/or participate in sales trips to key feeder markets.




What we need from you

Requirements include some College plus 1-2 years business transient sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience and a related degree is required. Prior hotel reservations experience is an asset.

You must be able to travel to attend workshops, tradeshows, conventions, etc. and may be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
