InterContinental Adelaide is on the hunt for an experienced and passionate barista to join our team as a Food & Beverage Attendant.

A little taste of your day-to-day: 
 
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
Taking guest orders and making menu recommendations as our go-to coffee expert 
Preparing and serving a wide variety of hot, cold, artisan and speciality beverages 
Receiving and processing guest payments
 Helping set exceptional cleanliness standards across all work areas and equipment
 
What We need from you: 
 
Hands-on experience with brewing equipment
Passion for coffee and coffee artistry
Knowledge of various hot and cold beverage recipes and espresso production 
● Articulate – a great communicator, you’ll be warm, welcoming and easy to talk to
 Your problem solving skills will turn issues into opportunities so every guests leaves with great memories
Possess the ability to work under pressure
Demonstrate exceptional timekeeping and reliability
● Flexibility– night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job
● Compliant – you’ll be above minimum age required and hold RSA Certification
● Strong – sometimes you’ll need to lift, push, pull big objects up to 23kgs
