Your day to day

Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury Valley is currently looking for casual Bar Attendants to join our team across our Food & Beverage Operation including Banquets and Outlets (Gazebo Restaurant, Harvest Restaurant & Barracks Bar).  

As a Bar Attendant, you will be involved in the service delivery of all Food & Beverage items to our guests.  This includes set up and pack down of equipment such as tables, chairs and table settings, greeting and seating guests in a timely, efficient and friendly manner and serving of food and beverages.  Furthermore, our you will work cohesively as a team to ensure that meal periods and/or events run smoothly and our services are delivered to the highest standard.




What we need from you

Always follow safety procedures
• Fitness – you’ll be on your feet most of the day with lots of bending and kneeling
• Strength – sometimes you’ll need to lift, push and pull big objects like barrels and crates up to 50lbs (23 kg)
• Bar experience - exquisite bar and cocktail skills are desirable although not essential.
• Flexible – night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job
• Experienced – you’ll have experience working in a bar or food service environment serving guests.
• Compliant – you’ll hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol and fluent in the local language
• Articulate – a great communicator, you’ll be warm, welcoming and easy to talk to
• PASSIONATE - we want someone with a can do attitude, who loves our venue and isn't afraid of a challenge. Someone who is personable and wants to meet new people and be part of our close knit family.
