Your day to day

Reporting to the Head Pastry Chef, you will be a motivated person with a positive attitude who has an interest to progress your career, develop your skills, and expose yourself to varying styles of the pastry kitchen. We are looking for skilled, creative pastry chef who is focused on delivering true hospitality through producing quality pastry items.As a Pastry Chef, you will design, execute, and improve recipes, perform quality checks on ingredients and finished products. You will be responsible for producing a wide range of quality products whilst exercising your knowledge of hygiene and safety and maintaining our high guest service standards. 

It will be paramount for you to pay strict attention to timing and essential for you to stay organized and on top of your work at all times. To achieve results, you will be self-motivated and will perform your role with a sense of urgency.




What we need from you

Ideally you will have 1 to 2 years previous experience in a hotel or luxury restaurant environment. You will have your Certificate III or IV in Baking and/or Patisserie certification and preferably you will have worked with a food safety system such as HACCP.

Flexibility to work a varied roster including, late evenings, weekends and public holidays in order to support the operation alongside holding unrestricted Australian work rights will also be required.
