Your day to day

AEM Product Manager

Responsible for the delivery of AEM features and functionality across the digital experience (Mobile, Websites, and Digital Channels) that align with IHG’s enterprise platform goals. This role coordinates among business stakeholders, software developers, technical engineers, designers, data analysts, and other functional subject matter experts to create a comprehensive and holistic roadmap that addresses both short term and long-term needs. The AEM Product Manager must be able to work at the strategic level (generating innovative ideas for growth and change management) and at the tactical level (analyzing data, solving problems). The AEM Product Manager will help prioritize and activate the AEM roadmap, engage teams through planning and development to ensure platform efficiencies, and consult with business stakeholders to identify opportunities to deliver capabilities and scale. They will also support in-depth business reviews, communicate, and present across all levels of the organization and support cross-functional product team

Key Accountabilities

  • Perform design, development, and support of existing and new AEM platform features.
  • Understand product vision and business needs to define requirements and solutions.
  • Develop function and design principles to improve performance, capacity, and scalability of the AEM platform.
  • Work with Product Managers in planning and execution of new feature releases.
  • Consult business management team to clarify objectives and requirements.
  • Work with domain, product management and product engineering teams in solution engineering efforts.
  • Maintain platform roadmap and enterprise standards that assure product development projects optimally align with business objectives.
  • Define validation policies to deliver features that meet system and project expectations.
  • Facilitate the creation, review, and sign off-of project deliverables.
  • Provide support for production escalations and problem resolution for customers.
  • Assist technical team with issues technical expertise or complex systems knowledge.
  • Develop broad knowledge about current and future platform features
    Analyze market segments and customer base to develop market solutions.
  • Define product requirements that address market opportunities

  • Global Sales: collaborate on current initiatives and client needs



What we need from you

Education –

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.

Experience –

 

  • 5+ years leading product integration reviews and driving optimization studies in order to ensure design solutions are aligned with product attribute targets

Technical Skills and Knowledge –

 

  • Knowledge of the Adobe Experience Manager platform and associated technologies including basic knowledge of Adobe Target and Analytics
  • Robust understanding of the engineering and design development process for large, complex products in a multi-disciplinary organization
  • Experience supporting virtual builds, physical prototype builds, and pre-series production
  • Experience with product lifecycle management tools is an advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills combined with the ability to clearly and accurately explain technical issues
