Diversity and Inclusion
At IHG, everyone is welcome to make our business their home. We invite guests and colleagues alike to join us, connect and enjoy an extraordinary world .
Our business has an open outlook
True hospitality is about joining more people together, in more places, more often, right across the world. We want to open doors, break down barriers and create meaningful difference – so you feel proud to belong here.
Our philosophy is built on more than just words and ideas. It’s supported by Diversity & Inclusion initiatives designed to create the culture we want.
For instance, our Global Diversity & Inclusion Board, together with our regional D&I Councils, work to roll-out impactful initiatives where they are needed the most. We’re also committed to increasing the diversity of our senior leaders and bringing more women into management roles. Plus, we offer inclusion training, mentoring for aspiring female general managers and D&I-focused events. Underpinning all this are clear-cut D&I policies and global Employee Networks– you can read about some of these below..
Lean in empowers women to achieve their ambitions. Members meet in small groups to learn and grow together. They also receive lasting career development opportunities via access to a mentorship programme.
