WHAT’S THE JOB?
Under the direction of the Outlet Manager or Supervisor, delivers exceptional customer focused service through adherence to InterContinental Hotels Group Policies and Procedures. The ideal candidate would possess outstanding leadership and customer service skills that reflect a luxury brand.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY
- Deliver exciting beverage concepts for the Outlet, curating experiences for our Guests through innovative and unique beverage concepts.
- Deliver Food and Beverage service of high standard and in accordance with departmental standards and procedures
- Attends and participates in daily briefings, trainings and other meetings as scheduled
- Grooming is impeccable and in accordance with Hotel’s grooming and presentation standards
- Outlet equipment is clean, polished, sorted and stored
- Working areas are cleaned and re-set quickly
- Take appropriate action to resolve guest complaints
- Food and beverage stock is stored in relation to hotel procedures
- Performs related duties and special projects as assigned
- Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly
- Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation and notify supervisors of potential dangers
- Train Colleagues in beverage knowledge and bar operations.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
- Great communication skills
- Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local government agency.
- Problem solving and training abilities
- At least 1 year experience in restaurant food service
- High school graduate and above
