Role Purpose

Global responsibility for leading the global metasearch and OTA marketing program and driving revenue through IHG’s key partners.  

Other initiatives include providing analysis and metrics in an effort to optimize partner accounts and media to reach key performance objectives. Working with internal and external teams to provide program technology upgrades to increase efficiency and generate incremental revenue

Key Accountabilities

Activities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Proactively monitor and optimize performance based on revenue targets
  • Day-to-day maintenance of active campaigns
  • Campaign budget management
  • Vendor management and weekly communication with external partners
  • Responsible for setting up accurate campaign tracking
  • Recommend new products, partners, services and any opportunities to drive overall department goals and remain competitive
  • Maintain consistent communication with direct team, broader department and stakeholders as needed to ensure awareness of impactful activities
  • Provide thought leadership and articulate a point of view across all program initiatives to cross-functional teams, direct manager and often times to senior leadership
  • Work with cross-functional teams, such as the revenue management or the distribution team, to understand company needs and develop POVs and plans related to IHG commercial performance goals
  • Partner with Global Technology teams to enhance program capabilities and integrations
  • Work with regional partners to drive the global strategy and manage global advertising budgets of the metasearch program
  • Be proactive in seeking opportunities to glean insights, share recommendations, and provide thought leadership around big changes within the metasearch program
  • Must have experience presenting in front of group settings including members of a senior leadership committee
  • Must have experience reading, compiling and story-telling paid media performance data
  • Must have experience compiling robust PowerPoint presentation

Key Skills & Experiences

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital, Advertising, Business or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience

Experience

  • 5+ years digital media experience, direct-response preferred
  • Team player
  • Ability to be a big picture thinker and proactively find areas of opportunity and provide recommendations
  • Ability to read, comprehend, analyze, and interpret data
  • Great communication skills
  • Able to prioritize workload from multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to think broadly, with an enterprise-wide mindset, and apply day-to-day practices to overarching company pillars, strategies and KPI's
  • Ability to merchandise program and benefits to stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Expert Excel and PowerPoint user
  • Great attention to detail
  • Organized
