About Us

1.Transmit all information to each concerned Dept. and Director of Sales of all on-going correspondence with clients, regarding possibility of a function.

2.Proactively hunt and receive inquires for functions (by telephone, walk-in guest, result of a sales call).

3.Is fully connected to the market, maintains relationships with relevant hotels and industry sources.

4.Discuss with the clients further details pertaining to an event: menu, beverage, budget, and miscellaneous arrangements. Follow up with clients on proposals and finalize all the arrangements. Follows up on all deposit, contracts and cancellation charges to ensure the hotel policy is followed by all team members.

5.Fosters and motivates talent. Fully embraces all tools, including those provided by brand management to consistently maintain high performing colleagues. Manages performance appropriately based hotel best practices.

6.Initiates and maintains contact with key accounts, MICE contacts to maximize revenue performance. Effectively works to ensure Regent Beijing is the first choice for business leads, using best practices around relationship management, site inspections and reward and recognition tools.

7.Maintain regular contacts with the banquet clients, control expenses relating to the function to ensure maximum net profit, and achieve Personal Target and Team Goal by month.

8.Ensure the correct group status is used and all requests are answered by the team within 24 hours, check and control all banquet signboards present the right information ( lobby and all the function room)

9.Responsible and ensure for proper use and entry of database/information in hotel’s sales and property management system (currently Opera).

 




Your day to day

1.Excellent communication and presentation skills. Experience to put the most effective team together to achieve the objectives.

2.A minimum of 3 years professional work experience with progressive advance and responsibility in an international luxury brand hotel, preferably at the Forbes 4 or 5 Star level.

3.Degree level education in hospital or business related industry.

4.The ability to lead a team through excellent management practices motivating and encouraging performance in a highly engaged work environment.

5.Good English communication both written and oral.
