voco Dubai Palm Jumeirah is conveniently located on the trunk of the manmade island while being part of the newly launched “Palm West Beach”, a trendy and vibrant spot with an array of exceptional dining concepts. The 141 keys property is scheduled to open its doors to guests in early 2022.




Your day to day

You are responsible for:

  • Assist Chief Engineer in all Engineering operations of the hotel.
  • Ensure that all the Engineering Operational Procedures are well properly implemented under the supervision of Maintenance Engineer, Chief Engineer.
  • Monitor engineering store, spare parts, tools, materials, machines and equipment in well and orderly manner.
  • Proper planning and follow-up of Engineering Maintenance Schedule to avoid equipment and machines breakdown.
  • Immediate action to the problem in terms of repairs and breakdowns.
  • Check and control of engineering supplies, issuance repair and maintenance parts.
  • Be a part of the Sustainability Program of the Hotel
  • Analyses and monitors energy costs and expenditures for the department 
  • To ensure safety and satisfactions of the guests.
  • To keep hospitality and good relationships with the guest at all time.
  • To attend guest request and requirements as quick as possible.
  • Understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Colleagues’ Code of Ethics and the Hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
  • Promote efficiency, confidence, courtesy and an extremely high standard of social skills.



What we need from you

  • 5 years related experience including at least 2 years in supervisory capacity or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Diploma in Engineering or equivalent 
  • Available to work shifts, over weekends and on public holidays
  • A naturally outgoing and friendly personality with a passion for service excellence to consistently deliver and demonstrate voco™ service standards
  • A true “team-player” mentality and flexible attitude towards a diverse set of tasks
